E Series - Q. Will an E Series cartridge fit a vintage Dual 1219 Automatic turntable?

From what we can work out using info found online, the answer is yes, please see below.
The Dual has a cartridge holder which slides out and it shows the cartridge being mounted from the top with nuts underneath.
Hopefully the existing screws and spacers can be reused – you won’t need the nuts as these are captive in the E3, otherwise, you will have to buy new countersunk M2.5 screws to go with it as the cap head ones supplied will interfere with the latching mechanism when you refit it to the headshell. We're not sure which length, but you could measure the existing screw, our guess is 12 mm.
